E4000 Modular OLT

The Central Office Terminal (COT) E4000 of Wuhan Xunten Technology Co., Ltd is new mini GEPON equipment, which is a carrier class FTTX Broadband Access Unit (BAU). E4000 can provide as many as 4 service slots, and has 1024 ONU accesses (if split ratio is 1: 64). Each LPU plate has two or four EPON accesses. Every EPON access and 64 ONU equipments can form a passive optical network by optical splitter (split ratio 1: 64) to transmit data thought the fiber. It has the advantages of big transmitting capacity, good privacy, flexible networking, saving fiber circuit and COT, etc.

Moderate density, high capacity
E4000 is standard machine box with 19 inches in width and 2U in height, provides 16 EPON accesses at most with the biggest 4 EPON plates while each plate has 4 EPON, and all plates support hot-pluging. It supports the transmission of 20KM with split ratio of 1: 32, and has 512 accesses. When FEC function is started, it can support the transmission of 10KM with the split ratio of 1: 64, and then it has 1024 accesses. It supports long-distance fiber transmission of 50KM (split ratio of 1: 8), and back plate bandwidth is 48GBPS.
High reliability

E4000 support AC/DC power supplies, and has power supply 1+1 switching protection.
EPON optical interface equipment switching is available in E4000 which ensures the network reliability. During this time, each LPU plate only support or two EPON port. If the power supply for the whole equipment breaks off abnormally, the system can resume regular work quickly when the power supply returns to normal according the storage configuration.

Flexible networking
E4000 has 8 uplinks, 4 optical accesses and 4 electronic accesses, 4 10/100/1000M adaptive electronic accesses, 4 1000M accesses, 8 1000M accesses at most, provide various network methods like chain, star, tree type and so on. TRUNK and RSTP will bring benefit to networking.
Perfect QOS guarantee
Each PON supports 225 logic link IDs (LLID), and can provide good QoS for subscribers with the technology of VLAN and so on. It can make triple churning encryption for each LLID, and has powerful Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) and powerful bandwidth sharing capacity, which can improve bandwidth utilization rate. Accompanied with flexible bandwidth management capacity on the basis of SLA and priority guarantee strategy, It ensures subscribers' minimum bandwidth requirements and low-latency demand in high priority business (TDM). So it gives all-around QoS security.
Powerful OAM
The following properties are available in E4000: ONU automatic discovery and automatic registration, subscriber line testing, automatic high alarm of remote ONU fiber and power breaking, MAC address binding and filtering, IP address binding and filtering, bandwidth control, VLAN, flow control as well as other telecommunications properties including rich operation availability and control availability, and other China Telecom expanded OAM, CTC inter-communications and TELCO ALARM standard alarm interface.
